Farming is good for the soul, and tough on a person! We fight pests, vermin, for water (at a reasonable price), crop theft, to find honest hard working help, mother nature, .... We deserve and need the support of those we are constituents of to keep fruit from other country's from flooding our market and eroding market pricing, and so our ability to sell our fruit and stay afloat for one more year of this glorious quest - to be a good person, provide for those we love and care for, and to have a good life while farming.

Maybe we begin by educating about where food really comes from. That the food we eat doesn't just come from the store, it starts with a farm, a ranch, a boat, etc. We can elect to eat food produced and caught in the US. "Keep America Growing" as Farm Aid still says after all these years of the plight of the small farm.
Well said. The real question before us is if the people of the USA want to have a domestic agricultural industry or be dependent on other countries to feed us? Right now we’re heading toward the latter.
